Schooner Guido Pfister wrecks near the S. Pier of Duluth Ship Canal in 1885. She spilled some of her cargo of coal on the shore where residents helped themselves.  She remained in that location for 11 years and was removed in 1896 (dynamite) when the widening of the Cannel took place.
